Chabad at UCF hosts screenings for Jewish genetic diseases

March 16, 2016 – Chabad at UCF hosted screenings for Jewish Genetic Diseases at their weekly barbecue on March 15. Representatives from the Victor Center for the Prevention of Jewish Genetic Diseases at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami stopped at UCF on their trip around the country to raise awareness of these diseases.

February 29, 2016 – Patients and families treated by the Nicklaus Children's Brain Institute came together on "Rare Diseases Day" for the launch of a family advisory committee to support families of children with rare diseases.

We joined hands with Golisano Children’s Hospital in Naples, Florida to bring our renowned subspecialty experts to serve children on Florida’s west coast. And we expanded our work in Palm Beach County through our continued affiliation with Jupiter Medical Center to enhance pediatric offerings in the region.

Heart surgeon uses 3D technology to make heart model for patient

January 15, 2015 – Adaenelie Gonzalez had two open heart surgeries by the time she was 4. She was born with a heart condition that prevented blood from flowing properly into the heart from the lungs, and the surgeries yielded only a temporary fix.

Michael Fux Foundation Hosts Celebrity-Filled Holiday Party for Children
