As the only pediatric hospital in South Florida dedicated exclusively to children, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, and its multispecialty physician group, Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists, LLC, is proud to be an in-network provider for the majority of health insurance plans providing coverage to our patients. In support of our mission to inspire hope and promote lifelong health by providing the best care to every child, our Managed Care team works closely with our health insurance partners to ensure a wide array of coverage and access options for patients.

Listed below are the health insurance plans participating with Nicklaus. In addition, we also accept a variety of Behavioral Health, Dental and Vision plans. In addition, we always recommend contacting your health insurance plan directly to verify Nicklaus' participation status based on the specifics of your insurance benefit plan design.

*Aetna QHP (Aetna CVS Health) has announced that exchange plans will no longer be available starting 1/1/2026, as they will be exiting the Affordable Care Act (ACA) individual markets.

Authorization requirements vary by each insurance plan/employer group. Please contact your insurance plan/employer group directly to confirm if your insurance plan is participating with Nicklaus Children's and to verify authorization requirements as some insurance plans/employer groups may not include our facilities.

Please note that some non-employed physicians and credentialed medical staff members of Nicklaus Children's Hospital may not accept all of the health plans listed above. Also note that participation in these plans is not a guarantee of payment or coverage.
