Chabad at UCF hosted screenings for Jewish Genetic Diseases at their weekly barbecue on March 15. Representatives from the Victor Center for the Prevention of Jewish Genetic Diseases at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami stopped at UCF on their trip around the country to raise awareness of these diseases.
Dr. Salyakina honored as a March of Dimes Woman of Distinction March of Dimes awarded Director of Personalize Medicine and Health Outcomes Research, Daria Salyakina, Phd as a Woman of Distinction. Women of Distinction honors and celebrates women leaders in South Florida chosen by the community and selected by an esteemed committee of past recipients and distinguished women leaders with a complement of events that culminate with a grand luncheon.
