If you have a child or adult family member with Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome, or BWS, then you know just how challenging it can be. To provide patients with BWS and their families with medical and emotional support, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital began hosting the Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS) Patient & Family Conference.

Staff and patients of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital welcomed legendary golf icon Jack Nicklaus, his wife, Barbara Nicklaus, and singer/actress Marie Osmond, co-founder of the Children’s Miracle Network, on a tour of the hospital’s new Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion. Patients, families and special guests gathered for an interactive musical drum circle session to end the visit.
