EraMed LLC Commences Service For The Miami Children's Hospital LifeFlight® Program

EraMed LLC (EraMed), a wholly owned subsidiary of Era Group Inc., announced today it has commenced service for the Miami Children’s Hospital as the operator of the hospital’s Sikorsky S-76C++ helicopter as a part of the Miami Children’s LifeFlight® Program.
Tracing its roots back to 1953, EraMed is one of the most successful air medical helicopter operators in the industry, with operations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The selection process entailed in-depth research into the top companies providing helicopter management services. The Miami Children’s Hospital reviewed the prospective operator’s safety programs and accompanying financial and operating proposals.

Miami Children's LifeFlight® helicopter has been fitted to carry two patients and four medical crew with pediatric/neonatal critical care capability, including provisions of nitric oxide and cardiopulmonary support.
