From the day she was born prematurely, Luciana has been a fighter. She came into the world with several complications – two heart conditions and a three-centimeter difference in length between each leg.  

While her heart was taken care of early on, Luciana required a thorough plan of care to correct the size of one of her feet, as well as the length of her right and left legs throughout her development. She’s been a patient at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute since her first procedure at age three.
