All in Fore the Kids
Hundreds of business and community leaders joined together
for All in Fore the Kids - two fundraising events to support one
cause – the children and families at Miami Children’s Hospital.
The events, held at the Biltmore Hotel & Golf Course, raised
more than $400,000 for MCH Foundation. All in Fore the Kids
kicked off with the Inaugural Gentlemen’s Night Out presented
by Turner Construction on April 18 and culminated with the
Miami Children’s 31st Annual Corporate Golf Invitational on
April 19. Chaired by Jesus Salas, Executive Vice President of
Programming for Spanish Broadcasting Systems, and John Agnetti,
Esq., Partner at Hoffman, Larin & Agnetti, PA, All in Fore the Kids
was also supported by Michael Baiamonte, Voice of the Miami
Heat and grateful parent, who served as Master of Ceremonies.
MCH5K Goes the Distance for Children
More than 4,000 runners, walkers and spectators came
together on September 21, 2013 at the Hyundai Hope On
Wheels 3rd Annual Miami Children’s Hospital 5K presented
by Sabadell United Bank. The MCH5K was held for the third
consecutive year in the City of Coral Gables and raised
nearly $500,000 for the children and families at Miami
Children’s Hospital, bringing the total amount raised since
its inception to more than $1 million. Featuring fundraising
teams honoring patients and former patients, as well as
groups wishing to make a difference, the MCH5K showcased
the many lives that have been impacted by Miami Children’s
Hospital and celebrated the children. The 2013 MCH5K hero,
4-year-old cancer survivor Ava Crowley, inspired participants
to cross the finish line.
MoreWine, Women and Shoes
More than 450 ladies slipped into their stilettos and
joined together at the sold out 2nd Annual Wine,
Women & Shoes Presented by Elizabeth Spill for a
day of shopping and fun with the common purpose
of supporting world-class pediatric healthcare.
Guests from throughout South Florida gathered at
the Coral Gables Country Club on February 7 to raise
their glasses and, most importantly, to raise nearly
$450,000 to benefit the children and families at
Miami Children’s Hospital. This amount is nearly
double what was raised at the inaugural event. Event
Co-Chair and CBS 4 Anchor Shannon Hori once again
served as Mistress of Ceremonies and shared the role
with fellow Co-Chairs Criselda Breene and Carola
Pimentel.
