Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
®
(CMN
Hospitals) is an international non-profit
organization dedicated to raising funds and
awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across
North America. Its core philosophy is to keep
100 percent of donations in the local area in
which they are raised.
Miracle Balloon Campaigns:
• Publix Super Markets, Inc., hosted its annual three-
week campaign and raised more than $587,000.
• Costco Wholesale locations in South Florida hosted
a month-long campaign and raised more than
$248,500, a nearly 29 percent increase from 2012.
• Buffalo Wild Wings, a new local partner, hosted a
holiday campaign and raised more than $1,800.
Events and Promotions:
• The 13th Annual Marriott/CMN Hospitals golf
tournament raised nearly $62,000.
• More than 200 students at the University of Miami
raised $15,000 at the Canes Dance Marathon.
• Twenty-five local Dairy Queen locations participated
in Miracle Treat Day and the Homestead location
hosted a Monster Jam event.
• The 7th Annual Taste of Harbor Beach event raised
more than $45,000.
• Sixty-five organizations partnered with MCH
Foundation for Miracle Jeans Day and raised more
than $15,000.
• IHOP Restaurants hosted its Annual National Pancake
Day and two paper icon campaigns and raised more
than $118,000.
• More than 300 students registered for the Annual
Florida International University Dance Marathon and
raised more than $70,000.
• A partnership with two USA Gymnastics locations
resulted in more than $5,400 being raised by
gymnasts ages 5 to 15.
Student Involvement:
• Sigma Alpha Epsilon at University of Miami
raised more than $21,500 through their annual
Paddy Murphy Week fundraisers and their annual
convention which was held in Miami.
• Sigma Chi at Florida International University hosted
its annual Derby Days and raised more than $8,000,
an increase of almost 199 percent since the previous
year’s campaign.
• Members of Phi Delta Epsilon, Phi Mu and Zeta Beta
Tau hosted various fundraisers.
Year-Round:
• Local credit unions raised more than $20,000
through the Credit Unions for Kids Program.
• HMS Host at Miami International Airport and Tom
Thumb Food Stores continued to support the CMN
Hospitals canister program.
• Participating RE/MAX offices continued to support
CMN Hospitals through the Miracle Home Program,
by making a donation for every closed transaction.
