Nicklaus Children’s Appoints Frank Garcia Vice President of Operations
MIAMI - Frank Garcia has been appointed Vice President of Operations for Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, responsible for overseeing the Emergency Department, LifeFlight Critical Care Transport Program, as well as the radiology, laboratory and pharmacy services for the 289-bed pediatric specialty hospital. In this role Mr. Garcia oversees nearly 500 staff members within the health system.
Mr. Garcia has been with Nicklaus Children’s for more than 13 years, most recently as Regional Director of Ambulatory Services, providing administrative and operational leadership for Nicklaus Children’s ambulatory centers in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Prior to joining Nicklaus Children’s, he served as a Regional Operations Director for DaVita and Director of Managed Care for Mercy Hospital.

Mr. Garcia has a master’s degree in health services administration from Barry University and a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University.
