Her Royal Highness Princess of Jordan Visits Miami Children's Hospital

Princess Zein bint Al Hussein of Jordan visited Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) on March 5, 2013 to meet with administrators and greet hospitalized children.Her Royal Highness toured the hospital to learn about some of the cutting edge programs being offered at MCH. They were given a demonstration of MCH’s TeleHealth program, which extends MCH’s medical expertise to families around the world through the use of medical technologies.
They also toured the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), which provides highly specialized pre- and post-operative care for children undergoing cardiac surgery and interventional catheterization.
The Michael Fux Family Center (MFFC) welcomed the royal guests with a private reception and a tour of the family centered facility. The visit was made possible by MCH’s Department of Global Health, which is dedicated to the health of children throughout the world.
