Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) welcomes Edward Martinez as the hospital’s new Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining MCH, Mr. Martinez was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer & Research Institute in Tampa, FL.

Mr. Martinez has 25 years of experience in the field of Information Technology and has served in different leadership positions at community centers and hospitals throughout the country.  Mr. Martinez has helped develop national healthcare IT standards, and has raised industry awareness of real business issues surrounding data collaboration within healthcare settings.
