During the month of February, Community Blood Centers of South Florida will hold a band-aid drive to support children receiving care at Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) facilities.
           
The band-aid drive is a fun and easy way for the community to put a smile on a child’s face. Simply drop off a box of colorful character, latex-free band-aids, such as those with Dora the Explorer, Sesame Street characters, Spiderman or other children’s favorites, to collection sites at MCH facilities.
 
The collected band-aids will be given to children receiving treatment in all MCH patient care areas, including inpatient units, the Pediatric Care Center, the Emergency Department and Rapid Care Centers. Band-aids collected at ambulatory locations will be kept for the patients seen at that particular location.
 
Collection sites will be set up as follows:
MCH main lobby, 3100 SW 62 Ave, Miami
MCH Dan Marino center lobby, 2900 S. Commerce Parkway, Weston
MCH South Dade Center lobby, 17615 SW 97 Avenue (Franjo Rd.)
Palmetto Bay
