EKG Screening Event at Miami Dancity School

Nicklaus Children’s Heart Program, in conjunction with @theBreannaVergaraFoundation, recently hosted an EKG4Bre free screening event at Miami Dancity School to help identify dancers at risk for heart anomalies that can lead to sudden cardiac death (SCD).  A total of 50 student dancers were screened and two were identified for further testing. A big thank you to Mrs. Yvonne and Mrs. Alina from Miami Dancity as well as the Breanna Vergara Foundation for making this event such a success.
The next EKG4Bre Event will take place this Thursday, June 23 at the Heart Program at Nicklaus Children’s Hospitals from 1p.m. to 4:30pm.
