Leaders at Nicklaus Children's Hospital have been awarded fourth place at the Innovator Awards for the Baby Steps program. The Baby Steps program is a nurse-led telehealth transition of care program for infants cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and their caregivers. It was developed to address a gap in care after discharge and is focused on providing integral support after infants return home.
