Jacquelyn S. Verme, APRN, PPCNP-BC, CDCES
Jacquelyn S. Verme is a nurse practitioner within the Division of Endocrinology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She also serves as the quality care coordinator for the Pediatric Diabetes Treatment Center and coordinator for Camp Roaring Sun, a camp exclusively for children ages 6 to 12 with diabetes who receive care at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Mrs. Verme completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Florida International University in Miami. She then pursued a master’s degree in nursing at the same institution. Her clinical interests include Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes and pre-diabetes.
Mrs. Verme is a member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, American Diabetes Association, Florida Nurses Association and Florida Nurse Practitioner Network.
Mrs. Verme is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
