Dr. Chad Perlyn, pediatric plastic surgeon at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and a board member of Pediatric Specialists of America, led a discussion entitled “Squamosal Suture Synostosis: Increasing Incidence or Increasing Perception?” on January 24 at the first joint American Society of Craniofacial Surgeons (ASCFS)/American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons (ASPN) symposium in Maui, Hawaii.
 

This inaugural event, which took place January 23-25, brought together renowned physicians from around the globe for the accredited educational event that fostered debate and discussion surrounding topics of mutual interests to these two societies. Joining Dr. Perlyn at the symposium were his Nicklaus Children’s colleagues Dr. John Ragheb and Dr. Toba Niazi, pediatric neurosurgeons, and pediatric plastic surgeon Dr. S. Anthony Wolfe.
