Miami Children’s Health System in 2013 reinvented
the healthcare experience, innovating to eliminate
barriers of time and distance to support families
around the globe who have children with specialized
care needs. MCH Anywhere is the first pediatric
telehealth program of its kind, offering medical
guidance or a second opinion to families wherever
the need arises.
MCH Anywhere is supported by the health system’s
state-of-the-art Telehealth Center, located on the
main campus. The center was designed by doctors and
consumer experts to facilitate review of diagnostic
information and enable sophisticated videocon-
ferencing, providing the framework for patients,
families and referring physicians to consult with
the hospital’s renowned specialty and subspecialty
physicians, as well as pediatric therapists, dietitians
and mental health professionals.
