The De George Pediatric Unit at Jupiter Medical Center is a proud partnership with the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and the Lawrence J. and Florence A. De George Charitable Trust.
The unit is a comprehensive, family-centered environment, featuring state-of-the-art medical and therapeutic services. The child-friendly unit was designed specifically with kids in mind. Featuring 12 private rooms, two pediatric surgery suites, a therapy room, a Child Life Specialist, a Pediatric Social Worker and its very own playroom – as well as the “Bears Den” family lounge which was inspired by Jack Nicklaus and designed for families and visitors to rest or have privacy in an at-home atmosphere.
