Biography

Dr. Paredes received her medical degree from Central University of Venezuela in Caracas and began her medical training with a pediatric externship at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. She then completed a pediatric internship and residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in nephrology at Children’s Hospital Boston. Dr. Paredes is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric nephrology.

Dr. Paredes was recently named Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.

She is currently participating in clinical research programs and has published numerous articles on nephrology. She is a member of several professional societies and is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English.
