Biography
Pediatrician
Dr. Allen Furia is a pediatrician within the Division of Primary Care at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Sapienza Università di Roma in Italy. Dr. Furia completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of South Florida in Tampa. His clinical interests include allergy and immunology, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and treating asthma.
Dr. Furia is board certified in general pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Furia is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He speaks English, Italian and Spanish.
