Carolina Alexa Gonzalez, APRN

Carolina Gonzalez is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse/first assist within the Division of Plastic Surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.  Mrs. Gonzalez then pursued a master’s degree in nursing at the same institution. Her clinical interests include hand and wrist fractures, positional plagiocephaly and wound care. 

Mrs. Gonzalez is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau international honor society of nursing.  

Mrs. Gonzalez is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
