Biography

Dr. Baitner received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed two Research Fellowships - one at the Musculoskeletal Research Center Hospital for Joint Disease Orthopaedic Institute in New York, and the other at the Department of Orthopaedics at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He did his orthopaedic residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He was a Fellow in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at the the Children's Hospital San Diego prior to joining the Department of Orthopaedics at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Dr. Baitner is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
