Dr. Javier C. Gaud Vargas sees patients at Nicklaus Children’s Urgent Care Centers. He earned his medical degree from the San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Dr. Gaud then completed a residency in pediatrics at the Salah Foundation Children’s Hospital/Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Gaud is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at medical conferences.

Dr. Gaud is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
