Biography

Dr. Gonzalez-Mendoza received his medical degree from Guadalajara, Mexico and completed his externship at Mayaguez Medical Center Department of Pediatrics Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He interned and completed his residency right here at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, and received a Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship from Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gonzalez-Mendoza is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the Sub-Board in Pediatric Endocrinology. He is a member of various medical organizations and has published numerous articles on Diabetes.
