Aurora Penate, LMHC

Aurora Penate is a licensed mental health therapist within the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned a bachelor's degree in French at Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.  Ms. Penate then pursued a master’s degree in mental health counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Her clinical interests include anxiety and adjustment disorders, trauma and stressor-related disorders, self-esteem and mood disorders.  

 
Ms. Penate is a member of the American Counseling Association.  

 

Ms. Penate is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
