Biography

Grace T. Padron, MD 

Program Development Director, Allergy & Immunology 

 

Dr. Grace T. Padron is a pediatric allergist and immunologist and serves as program development director for the Division of Allergy & Immunology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. In her role as program development director, Dr. Padron is responsible for developing the biologics program and community-wide strategy for expanding the allergy-testing program, as well as contributing to care-improvement initiatives. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Padron completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, where she also served as chief resident. She then pursued a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Her clinical interests include food allergy, primary immunodeficiency, atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, asthma and urticaria.  

 

Dr. Padron is board certified in general pediatrics and allergy and immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy and American College of Allergy. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences. 

 

Dr. Padron is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
