Know Before You Go FAQ - Main Campus Appointment

Please complete your pre-registration through the link you will receive prior to your visit, which includes uploading your ID and insurance documents, signing your consents, and providing any medical history.

To help things go smoothly, check if your insurance requires a referral before your appointment. If it does, be sure to bring it with you so you won't need to reschedule. Not sure? Just give your insurance provider or the office where your child's appointment is scheduled a quick call—they'll be happy to help!

If the child is a new patient, please bring their medical records to ensure your child receives the best care possible.

We offer patients and families free valet parking found in the Blue Garage at our Main Campus Hospital. Our off-site locations have appointed parking lots found outside of the practices.

Once you arrive at your clinician's office, please scan the QR code to notify our office you have arrived and complete any missing documents needed for check in. After you complete the check-in, the front office staff will call you to collect any additional information they may need.

Nicklaus Childrens has a patient portal where you can view your medical records, laboratory results, view upcoming appointments, and send and receive messages with most physician practices. If you are not using the patient portal, you can request your medical records here.

Download the MyNicklaus app for GPS like turn-by-turn directions to our offices at the Main Hospital. The MyNicklaus App also makes it easy to find onsite amenities, from restaurants to restrooms to ATMs – as well as help patients access digital services such as physician directories, appointment scheduling, patient records and more.

The length of your appointment can vary depending on the specialty and the specific needs of your child. Our goal is to provide excellent care tailored to your child's health needs.

Generally, appointments can range from 30 minutes to an hour. If your appointment requires diagnostic testing, you may spend more time in your visit. If you are completing diagnostic testing, you will need to visit Patient Access on the first floor of the Ambulatory Care Building to check in for your diagnostic appointment before returning to the practice to complete your visit.

Keeping appointments is important for your child's treatment. We understand other obligations may arise that force you to miss an appointment. If you are unable to make your child's appointment, please call 1-888-624-2778 to cancel or reschedule the appointment.

You can schedule your appointment online or by calling 1-888-624-2778 from Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
